Database Backup & Restore 

If you install the 'Datebase Backup Tools for Access' or 'Datebase Backup Tools for MySql', you can see this submenu under 'Admin' menu. The backup tools are included for Uniforce POS V3.0 and can be purchased as add-on packages for Uniforce POS Lite versions.

If your pos's database is an access database, when you click this menu, the 'Datebase Backup Tools for Access' will be opened. Then you can backup, restore or compact your access database.

If you use the MySql database, when you click this menu, the 'Datebase Backup Tools for MySql' will be brought up.

Input your mysql server information at the 'DB Info' page, then click the 'Test' button for testing it.

Then you can backup or restore your mysql database at 'Backup/Restore' page. To backup your database, just click the 'Backup' button. Then you can see the processing window, and you can see the success window when it's finished.

Click the 'Restore' button to restore your database. It will begin after you selected your backup file.
