Uniforce Retail POS Lite:
Install Software:
1. Download the setup file. The download of Uniforce Retail POS without the users manual and training video is 9 megabytes in size. The approximate download times vary according to your connection speed. This table gives you the approximate download times:

2. After download completes, double click the installer to start installation.
3. After the installer launched, follow the installation steps.
When you see "Select Packages" window, "Uniforce POS" has to be selected, we also suggest you select "Demo Video" if you have 40MB free disk space.
4. After the installation finishes, you will be asked to initialize the demo version. You can choose to run your demo POS using database already installed on your computer: Select "Local Access". However, we recommend you to choose one of the 3 databases hosted on our data server to be able to experience more functions in your demo version. The 3 databases are:

• uniforcepos: a database designed for a "Wine and Spirit" store with 4000 items and thousands of attributes defined for wines, cigars and spirits.
• posliquor: a database with 7600 items and more than 30,000 sample transactions.
• posgrocery: a database with 4000 items and more than 30,000 sample transactions.

Click on "Init. Demo" button then close the configuration window.

Use Software:
1. Click on the short cut: "Uniforce POS Management" or click Start All Programs Uniforce POS Lite, then choose "Uniforce POS Management".
2. When you see the login window, please use the following login and password:

Then click "Quick Login" to login the POS system.
3. You will see the wizard window opens. Choose the topic to start your experience with Uniforce POS. If you installed the video demo package, open a topic in the wizard will also open a demo window.
4. Many functions are disabled in the trial version. We strongly suggest you to either call 1-800-783-1581 or go to http://www.uniforcepos.com/service/online_demo.php to schedule a 30 minutes online demo session with our sales support department.

Uniforce R-POS:
Install Standalone R-POS: Standalone R-POS does not come with two back office tools.
1. Download and run the installer file.
2. After the installer launched, follow the on-screen instructions to go through the installation steps.
3. After the installation finishes, you need to initialize the demo version. Click Start All Programs R-POS, and then choose "SysConfig".
You can choose to run your demo R-POS using database already installed on your computer: Select "Local Access". However, we recommend you to choose one of the 2 databases hosted on our data server to be able to experience more functions in your demo version. The 2 databases are:

• rpos: a default demo database designed for a "Full Service Restaurant" with full menu and table layouts. To choose this database, choose Remote -My SQL.
• subrpos: a demo database for a "Fast Service Restaurant". To choose this database, choose Remote - My SQL and type "subrpos" for the database name.

Click on "Init. Demo" button then close the configuration window.

Install R-System: R-System includes R-CORP. (Chain Restaurant Back Office tool) and R-OFFICE (Restaurant Back Office tool)
1. Download and run the installer file.
2. After the installer launched, follow the on-screen instructions to go through the installation steps.
3. After the installation finishes, you need to initialize the demo version. Click Start All Programs R-POS, and then choose "SysConfig".

1. Click on the short cut: "R POS" or click Start - All Programs - R-POS, then choose "R-POS.exe".
2. When you see the login window, use 'admin' as login name and 'admin' as password. When asked for admin's Employee No. and password when application is running, use "101" as Employee No. and "admin" as password
3. To open the help files, click Start - All Programs - R-POS, then choose "Uniforce R-POS" or the "Uniforce R-CORP" to launch the help files.
4. Many functions such as Modifiers are disabled in the trial version. R-Office and R-Corp are also not available in the standalone trial version. We strongly suggest you to either call 1-800-783-1581 or go to http://www.uniforcepos.com/service/online_demo.php to schedule a 30 minutes online demo session with our sales support department.
